Established in 1996 as a facility offering services such as recording, mixing, mastering, pre/post production services, etc., Groove United Productions recognized the vast wealth of talent within Canada and ventured to build a facility that would enable Canadian and International artists to create in an inspiring environment.
Groove United endeavored to create a record label to support and promote Canada's premier artists. A Canadian based independent label, we collaborate with some of the worlds best known, Grammy award-winning producers to include the likes of Daryl Simmons (Dru Hill, TLC, Whitney Houston, Boyz To Men, and Toni Braxton etc.), Herb Middelton (Faith Evans, Mary J. Blige, Notorious B.I.G.), Barry Eastmond (Anita Baker, Al Jarreau, George Benson, Whitney Houston, Will Downing, Britney Spears etc.) and Kipper Jones (Vanessa Williams, Brandy, Kenny Lattimore) and more.
Groove United Productions is best known throughout the world for its artistic integrity and commitment to quality. We currently have a music roster that consists of a wide variety of genres from R&B and soul to jazz and world music. Groove United Productions is also a full service facility that also deals in the areas of distribution, licensing and artist management.
One of our most immediate projects is the creation of a Jazz Series entitled "The Jazz Room" which is currently being distributed in Canada through Distribution Fusion III and throughout Europe by UK.
